FIGHTING IN SOMALILAND.

DERVISHES ON THE WARPATH.

United Press Association. London, February 9

The Press Bureau reports further successful operations against the Somaliland Dervishes. After the operations in November the Dervishes returned to Shimberberris, repaired their forts, and aided frienedly tribes. A combined Indian contingent and camel constabulary attacked Dervishes on February 3rd and 4th, and after a desperate resistance captured the forts and caves. Thirty-two Dervishes,- including two headmen, were killed. All the forts and caves were destroyed, and the Dervishes evacuated the district. The Anglo-Indian casualties were three killed and eleven wounded.
