KAISER CHASED BY AEROPLANES. United Press Association. (Received 12.20 p.m.) Amsterdam, February 9. It transpires that the Kaiser’s inspection at Wilhelmshaven abruptly ended on receipt-of the news that three of the enemy’s aeroplanes were approaching.

A British aviator with a quickfirer chased a Taube with two occupants near Bethune. The observer was killed, and the machine, which was badly damaged, fell in the German lines.
