THE LIO-LAB. PARTIES.

The political truce between the Labour and Liberal parties lias ended. Mr Holman protests that there was a breach of the agreement owing to the same Liberal candidate contesting the Castlereagh seat. Ho states that there will he no future truce or understanding with any party which does not respect agreements.
FEDERAL REVENUE.
(Received 9.20 a.m.) Melbourne, February 8
The Federal half-holiday revenue ending December was £15.005,623, compared with £10,131,027 for the corresponding period of last year. The expenditure was £15,748,046, compared with £10,897,434, the increase being due to the defence expenditure. The Treasurer has authorised the issue and re-issue of notes to the value of £25,000,000, including the twenty million authorised on December 14th.
THE LONCREACH FIRE.
(Received 9.20 a.in.) Brisbane, February 8. The damage caused by the Longreadi fire is estimates at £30,000 to £IO,OOO.
