There are, unconfirmed reports that five airships appeared• on. the .South Coast to-night, and that the forts, including those at Dover, opened fire, and drove them across the Channel. The authorities in London and elsewhere promptly obscured all lights. ■ jLondon, February'2. The the airship raid proved unfounded.
