The Right Hon. C. F. G. Masterman lias resigned tlio Chancellorship ol the Duchy of Lancaster, states a London cablegram. Mr J. Davis, of the clerical staff of the Hawera railway station, has been appointed stationmaster at Midhirst. .Mr Xorthover, stationmaster at Xormanhy, has been promoted to Feilding and is to be succeeded by Mr F. Find, lay, of Ralmerston Xortb. Mr Towns, end, ol Xormanby, lias been transferred to Hawera.
