NEW PLYMOUTH TECHNICAL COLLEGE.
In another column of this issue will he found particulars of the day classes at the Technical College, New Ply-
mouth, under the able direction of Mr A. Gray. The Technical College has done good work, and is gaining a reputation outside the immediate district. Proficiency Certificate, Free Places and Scholarship holders are admitted to all the classes free of charge without age limit, others students at a nominal fee per term for any or all of the classes. In addition students wishing to travel by train may obtain a certificate for a free rail pass on application to the director. The courses of instruction are very wide, including engineering, wood working, agriculture and dallying, commercial, domestic, nursing, art, and a special course for pupils intending to take up teaching as a profession. In the full details, which appear in another column, it will lie found that singing and physical culture form a prominent part of the work of the College, while, piano tuition can be obtained on payment of a small extra fee. The director notifies that suitable hoard and accommodation can he arranged for students from a distance. - The classes commence on Monday next, February Ath, and enrolment forms can be obtained on application to the director.
