Croot, of Lowgarth, was united m matrimony to Mr Arthur Robert, only son of Mr and Mrs Richardson, of Stratford. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. X Pattison. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr W. Croot, looked charming in a robe of softest voile richly embroidered, a coronet of orange blossoms with the orthodox veil, and a handsome shower bouquet. The bridesmaids, Miss Florence Richardson (sister of the bridegroom), and the Misses Winnie and May Thomas (nieces if the bride), looked sweet in dresses of white Bengeline, trimmed with Maltese lace, pink ribbon sashes, and pink and white bouquets. Mr C. Croot, brother of the bride, was best man. The happy couple left for Wanganui. previous to taking up their residence in Hawera.
