Mr J. E. Roe, F.X.Z.1.A., Architect of Hawera, announces that he has entered into partnership with Mr F. E. Greenish, of Wellington. Mr Greenish received his professional training with Messrs Eaton and Bates, a firm of well established and prominent architects in Sydney. He also studied and obtained certificates in architectural subjects at the Sydney Technical College s under Mr Jas. Xangle, F.R.C.S.. F.T.A., and member of the Concrete Institute and a specialist in steel construction. Coming to Xew Zealand a few years hack. Mr Greenish joined in partnership with Mr W. 0, Beere, a well-known civil engineer and architect, and continued with him for five years, during which time the firm carried out a large number of modern and artistic buildings in the Empire City. Mr Greenish has made a specialty of the latest methods of design in domestic architecture, and should be able to forward the genera! progress 1 already noticeable in the district in this connection. He is a Fellow of the X.Z. Institute of Architects (registered), and ■a member of Council and of the Executive of that body, and is also a member of the Education Committee at present preparing the standard of examination qualifying for admission to the institute under the Act recently passed. Messrs Roe and Greenish will still occupy the offices at present held by Mr Roe at Barry's Buildings, High Street, Hawera x
