METHODIST CHURCH.
The quarterly meeting of the Methodist Church was held at Midhirst on Thursday, January 21st. Rev. Reader onesided over a very fair attendance j of officials. 1 The work throughout the circuit was considered to he in a very healthy condition. The balance-sheet still shows a dehit balance, hut there is every prospect of wiping this off during the present quarter. Mr 11. Sanson and Mr .1. Martin wore elected as conference representatives.
