KRUPP’S BOMBARDED.
ALLIES’ AIRMEN AT ESSEN VISIT ON WEDNESDAY DOES DAMAGE. [Unitid Prim Adsnnrmnv i Rotterdam, January 22. The Niewe Rotterdamsche Courant says the Allies’ aeroplanes on Wednesday visited Essen, and attempted to bomb Krupp’s. They destroyed some houses, and mused other damage, the extent of which is not known.

The New York World asks, “What can Germany hope to gain by wanton attacks of undefended, places and the slaughter of innocents? Certainly not the good opinion of neutrals who know that the rules of civilised warfare require notice of bombardment even of a fortified place.” LATEST TYPE OF ZEPPELINS. (Received 9.0 a.m.) Copenhagen, January 22. A Berlin message states that the Zeppelins which raided Norfolk were of the latest type and of high speed, and carried great stores of ammunition.
