The wind was tricky and targets hard to see, owing to bush fires. In the Linton match, 300 yards, R. J. King (Opaki) and M. Carey (Patea) with 48 each, secured £2 10s, and J. Burns (Karori), £2. Oroua match, 500 yards, A. V. SWanson (Opaki), 49, £3; C. Carter (Petone), 48, £2; J. Peterson (Tara, rna), and C. Engstrom (Opaki), 48, £1 10s. Manawatu match, 000 yards.—H. Lewer (Hautere R.€h), 49, £3; J. Burns (Karori), 48, £2; J. Dnlzicl (Linton), 47, £2. Champion Teams Match.—Opaki Rifle Club No. 2 team, 666, 1; Opaki R.C., No. 1 team,, 662, 2; Petone R.C., 659, 3; Linton R.C., No. 1 team, 654, 4. Nine teams competed.
