AMUSEMENTS.
Patrons visiting this theatre 'tonight should be pleased with the budget of plays which will bo screened for the first time in Taranaki. The star picture is a comedy by the Vitagrapli Co., entitled "Goodness Gracious," which is in two acts, and is a skit on the old-time stage melodramas. In the War Gazette can bo witnessed French troops leaviug for the front, the Grenadier Guards on the march, Japanese cruisers, football for the war fund, the dreaded Turcos, holidays and the war, training Russian recruits, ambulance display, German cruisers. Pa the films include "Crocodilo Shooting," "Fjords lof Norway," "The Ghost of Granleigh" (drama), "A Scoundrel's Chance" (drama). "Bill's Job" (comic), etc., etc. Mr Will Diamond will sing "Play that .Melody Again." On Saturday "The Life of General Villa" will be the star play.
