AUSTRIAN RETREAT FROM SUVOBORN. Tiuki and Sydney Sun Bievioib. (Received 8.0 ’a.m.) A correspondent with the Servians, describing the Austrian retreat from Snvoborn' in its early stages, said he was impressed with the fact that they buried their heavy guns and surmounted them by wooden crosses like fallen warriors, having removed the breech blocks of the siege guns. Later the retreat became a debacle. The Austrians only thought of how they could get beyond the range of the guns, and they abandoned everything, their cannon, Maxims, and ammunition waggons being intact, while thousands of rifles were thrown on the road side, and the wounded were left to their fate.
