THE DECEMBER FIGURES. Per Press :Association. Wellington, January 14. The railway working account for the our weeks ended December 5 shows he following figures (shillings and ►once omitted): — Revenue.— North Island, 1914, £165, Revenue.—-North Island, 1914, £165,598; 1913, £157,736. South Island, 3124,787, (£106,821). Totals, £290,,(86 and £264,557. Expenditure.—North Island, £122,4g2 (£131,955); South Island, £IOO,(£96,296). Totals, £223,678 and £228,251. Percentage of revenue expended on oho working of linos was 78.48 as 1 gainst 70.81 in the corresponding period of the previous year.
