Miss Gladys Cooper was awarded ,■€l2oo damages against the Weekly London Midi for libel by innuendo, not mentioning names, which* the plaintiff said suggested she was going to be divorced owing to misconduct with Hamel, the aviator, and Dennis Garlic, the actor.
