ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.

SENSATIONAL COLLISION. Per Press Association. Auckland, January 12. A collision between a cyclist and a buggy occurred at the corner of Buckland and Mt. Albert roads, Mt. Boskill, this morning, with the result that a cyclist named Peter Winterbottom, received a broken collar-bone, while the occupants of the trap, Mr E. N. Major, and a little boy of three, were thrown out and considerably bruised. I he horse attached to the buggy reared up as the cyclist struck it, breaking a blood-vessel internally, so that it bled to death in a few minutes.
