IMPERIAL CONFERENCE.

HON. A FRASER’S SUGGESTION. LBt Electric Telegraph—Copthxguxj United Press 'Association. London, ’January 9. Reuter states that none of the Dominion Governments asked for an Imperial Conference to be held in 1915. The Imperial Government, at the outset of the war, intimated that a conference was impracticable in such distracting circumstances. This view is now repeated, in consequence of statements of the Press that Mr Fisher, the Australian Federal Premier, favored the conference meeting. The Imperial Government has not heard of any desire from the Dominions not to adhere to the original proposal of postponing until after the war, beyond the suggestion attributed to Mr Fisher.
