James Allen, the Federal Minister for Defence has cabled; “It it not anticipated that any nurses as reinforcements will be required lor some months. If reliefs are sent we will endeavor to include some New Zealand nurses.” CAUDIN’S SENTENCE. Wellington, January 11. The Hon. James Allen states that the Governor has received a full re. cord of the court-martial of Gaudin. As a result of the perusal, it appeared necessary to communicate with the judge, advocate-general, and Administrator at Samoa. No further announcement than this could be made for a few days. Full publi> ity will be given as soon as possible.
