Prices throughout we.ro right up to values ruling prior to the Holidays, and in few eases showing an advance. ‘ls month Jersey heifers made SS ss, yearling to 15 month Shorthorn Heifers £2 5s 6d to £2 10s, good 15 month steers £3 12s, smaller £2 13s (id :o £3 2s, 2 to 21 year steers £5 Is to £5 4s, 3 year steers £7 ss, yearling to l 5 month bulls £2 18s to £4, medium weight hulls £7 ss, small cows and •alves £4 9s, fat heifers £7 7s, fat •ows £7 7s to £8 3s, no heavy weights offering, forward cows £6 2s to £7 Bs, store cows £5 Is to £5 17s, smaller rows £3 15s to £4 Jls, mixed 2jooths 14s 7d to 17s 7d. At Stratford on Tuesday I had only i small yarding, the whole of which I

was able to clear at satisfactory prices as follows: 15 months steers (sliowng Jersey) £3 4s, 2 year steers £5 to £5 10s, small bulls £3 15s to £5 2s 6d, 15 month Jersey heifers £3 ss, yearling to 15 month heifers £2 8s 63, fat cows £8 7s, forward cows £6 11s to £7 12s Id, store cows £5 2s to £5 17s 6d, small •ows £2 10s to £4, f.f.rn. and f.m. ewes 14s (id, f.m. ewes 12s 6d, aged ewes 10s. On Wednesday, 6th inst, at my Stony River yards, I had a small entry, practically alb of which was cleared at full market rates as follows:—Yearing heifers £2 to £2 2s, 16 month heifers £2 17s Gd, Jersey 15 month heifers £3, 15 month steers £3 7s to £3 10s (id, 2.\ year steers £5 11s, yearling Shorthorn bull £5 ss, heavy hulls £l4 5s to £l4 17s (id, light l/ulls £4 15s, springing heifers £5 5s to £5 17s Gd, fat cows £7 16s, forward cows £5 11s to £6 19s, store cows £1 5s to £5 Is, 2 tooth weth;fs, forward condition, 17s (id, f.m. ewes 16s Gd, forward lambs 12s Sd, good lambs 9s.
