San Marino rejected Germany’s demand for examination of her wireless, and insists that an Italian commission ’should inspect it. (San Marino, is a small but independent state in the north-east of Italy, being one of the most ancient states in Europe. It consists of a rocky mountain, upwards of 2,000 feet high, among the lesser ranges of the Apennines, and a small territory. The Government is Republican, with an executive, composed of twelve memr hers, selected from the sovereign grand council of 60, of whom one-' third are nobles.
