(Received 9.45;a.m.) Sydney, January 8< Mr Carmichael (Minister of Instruction), referring to the proposed National Reserve, said: "We have to thank an extraordinary stringent censorship for the inability of the publio to realise the grimness of the struggle, the true position of the combatants, and the possibilities for the future of this war of attrition. The time will come when we will honestly recognise that the tfar is going to tax the utmost resources of the Allies, especially the untrained millions of the British Empire."
