FATAL RAILWAY ACCIDENT.

United Press Association., (Received 9.40 a.m.) Kalgoorlie, January 7. A sensational accident occurred on the trans-Continental railway. Seventeen men were riding in the guards' van when it left the rails and overturned down an embankment. Two of the men, named Hall (guard), and McKeown, were killed outright, and two pthers, Bro&rick and Kearney, succumbed to their injuries. Nine were injured, five seriously.
