THE DISEASE OF ANTHRAX
CASES IN GREAT BRITAIN. [By Electric Telegraph—Oopyrightl United Press Association. London, January 5. At the inquest on a butcher at Mitcham, a victim of anthrax, the Coroner stated that the man had handled New Zealand rabbits. Evidence showed that several other cases more or less connected had Occurred in the vicinity. The Hon. Thomas Meckenzie (High Commissioner), subsequently wrote, stating that anthrax had not been found in New Zealand for many years.
