THE CHRISTCHURCH COURTv, Per Preps Association. Chris'tchufch, 'January 6. Charles James Feuter, who was remanded on a. charge of arson in setting fire to a garage at on Christmas Eve, thus causing the destruction of five valuable cars, admitted that he had attempted the theft of petrol at the same place and time. Wm. Archibald Bmnie pleaded guilty to a charge of faisely representing his age as 21 years whereby he obtained a totalisator ticket at Ricearton. George Mason, clerk, who sold the ticket, admitted iiie charge of, selling to a boy under age, but pleaded he did not see him. The Magistrate (Mr* Bishop)o said he would inflict a heavy penalty, but he deferred sentence till ho could see the bov.
