BOMBARDMENT OF GERMAN BEAPORT IN EAST AFRICA. Unitbd Pekm Association. Capetown, January 5 The British warships Fox and Gollath bombarded Dar-es-Salaam, and disabled all the enemy's shipping. Fourteen Europeans and twenty natives were taken prisoners. Dar-es-Salaam is a seaport of German East Africa, 45 miles south of Zanzibar. GENERAL. Johannesburg, January 5. The commandeering order was well received, and the burghers are readily responding to the commandos.
