Colonel Hazard Hubert Vaile, of Amkh'ind, has been elected » Fellow of the Colonial Institute, states a TimesSydney Sun cablegram. Cable advice has been received at Wellington of the death in America of the Rev. Arthur Deudney, a Baptist minister at one time prominent in the Aew Zealandhio-Hcense movement, who settled in the United States two years ago.—P.A. Mr Alexander Simpson, the official assignee for the Wellington District, who had been in ill-health for many months, died this morning, states the Press Association agent at Wellington. He was aged 63, and was formerly in the service of the Union Bank mid the National Bank, and on the staff of the Audit Department.
