Fine weather favored the second day of tho Auckland Racing Club’s Summer meeting, and there was a large attendance. Results: — Bowen Handicap, of 25050v5., one mile.—Bonny Rigg 1, Loloma 2, Fion.rilla 3, Scratched: Bedford. Loloma led into the straight, but at the distance Bonny Rigg. challenged, and after an interesting set to got the verdict by a head. Time, Imiu lOsec.

Islington Plate, of GoOsovs., one .mile.—Merry Roe 1, Warstep 2, Balboa 3. Scratched: Reputation and Postillion. Merry Roe went to the front from the start and was never reached’, winning by three-quarters of a length. Time, Imin 39sec. Visitors’ Handicap, of 35050v5., five, furlongs.—Kitty Bellairs 1, Hymettius 2, Postillion 3, Scratched: King Lupin. Kitty Bellairs was in front all the way and won by two lengths. Time, Imin.

Ponsunby Hurdles, of 350sovs, one utile and three-quarters—Spalfish 1, Kilmemy 2, Fashion Plate 3. All started. Spalfish went to the front seven furlongs from home, and was never headed, wincing by three-quar-ters of a length.
