KAISER AND HIS TROOPS.

Amsterdam reports that the Kaiser, addressing his troops on the eastern front, said: “Dear comrades.—'We come from France to bring you greetings from your western comrades, and to express our royal thanks at your bravery in victoriously defeating a superior force of Russians with God’s help. May He help you further! Give ray royal greetings to your comrades in the trenches, but give the bullets and bayonets to the enemy who, in any event, shall be defeated.” SUPPLY OF NICKEL SUFFICIENT FOR THE WAR. Timer and Sydney Sun Services. (Received 8.0 a.m.) London, December 28. It is stated that the output of nickel from Norway controlled by German interests is sufficient to suply Germany during the war.
PRUSSIAN CASUALTIES.
ENORMITY OF THE FIGURES.
United Press Association. (Received 9.10 a.m.) Amsterdam, December 28. Lists 101 to 108 show 35,883 Prussian casualties. Altogether, a quarter of a million Prussians and Bavarians were killed, 850,000 wounded, and 400,000 missing. " The casualties ; of-‘tha flaxout, Wm‘temburgers, arid navals total half a million.
