Tastoralists have entered a protest against amending the Land Tax Bill, and nrged Mr Fisher not to present the Act to the Governor until the April session so as to enable representations to be made regarding its effects. The Arbitration Court, on the hearing of an application on behalf of the shipping companies for variation of the Australasian Merchants’ Service Guild Award, adjourned it to April 1.
