The Rt. Hon. Louis. Botha (Premier) in an interview, said: “The Dutch loyalists have discharged their painful duty, and now wish the curtain to be rung, down without controversy and recrimination. Regarding the ringleaders; you may be sure justice will be done. The (ast three months have been the saddest of my life through having to hunt down my old comrades.”
General Botha paid a tribute to Mr Smuts (Minister of Defence), w'ho had done greater w'ork than anybody.
