CAKE AND APRON FAIR.
The Cake and Apron Pair held yesterday hy the Presbyterians in the Foresters’ Hall was well patronised, there being good attendances in the afternoon and evening. There was a large number of stalls, all neatly arranged and well supplied with material The cake stall was in charge of Mesdaroes Sino>-+- and Miss Thompson; the work stall, of Mesdames Stanton and Lundon; the produce stall, of Mesdames Paul and Smith; the sweet stall, of Mesdames Stewart and Spillman; the flower still, of Mesdames Eeid, Morrison, Corkhil! and Patrick; the refreshment stall, of Mesdames Brocklehank, McCluggage, Silk, Smith and Miss Xeilsen. The Young Women’s Bible Class had charge of the Christmas tree. All the stalls did well, and the Fair yielded very satisfactory results. The Ladies’ Child worked hard to make the sale a success, a"d are gratified at the result of their efforts.
