A considerable quantity - was not landed , tiuie for the auction; Competition was somewhat irregular , for' merinos, but crossbreds were in great demand, and were practiy cally all sold. Compared, to .October rates, Austyali||. merino-, combings, averaged Id lower; clothings crossbred, combings were Ad. lower, Now Zealand hue medium combings and clothing Id lowdr, coarse unchanged. The . nest sale will be held on danuary 28thj The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency, Co. ; Ltd. have reI ceived the following , cablegram from their Loudon house tinder date 17th inst:—Sales closed compared with November lower prices ; good merino 10 per. cent;, to 2Q>-inferior .25 per cent. Lamlis and, greasy,crossbreds par to 5 per cent., scoured slipe and lambs about same. *
