NEWTON KING'S HAYMARKET REPORT.
For my Haymarket sale on Saturday last I had a medium entry of pigs, which were offered before a fair attendance of buyers, i The enquiry was not so keen as previous sales. Prices ruling were therefore easier all round. I quote:—Slips and weaners Hs 6d to 14s, small stores 18s to £1 2s 6d, medium ditto £1 5s to £1 11s, good to light porkers up to £2 sows £2,Bs 6d; grass mower £5 12s 6d, brake £l3 10s.
T. LAMASON'S WEEKLY REPORT.
A very large ; entry of poultry came to hand at our last sale. Heiis showed a decline in prices, due largely to advanced prices of feed. We quote as follows: Hens Is 3d to 2s 3d, roosters Is 8d to 2s 6d, ducks Is 9d to 3s, ducklings Is to Is 6d, geese 2s 9d to 3s 6d, turkey hens 4s ,to ss, gobblers 7s to 10s 6d.
