Mr Reginald Kyffin Thomas, one of the proprietors of the newspaper, the Register, in Adelaide, succumbed to the effects of a motor accident.
Dr. Carbery ) who is at present in the field with the British Field ambulance, writes home to say they are now permitetd to make public the information that they are in Belgium. They are working day and night, the night time being .the severest for them. , ’They go to sleep anywhere—on straw bales, floors, ami anywhere at all. General X. had given ■ the Dr. special praise for the work of his division.
Mr E. R. W. Wilson, whose death we recorded yesterday was the oldest son of Mr E. R. W. Wilson of Kohuratahi.. He was for some years a member of the office staff of Mr W. G-. •Malone, and showed great promise in legal work, but weakening eyesight induced him to give up; law and take to farming. For years the late, Mr Wilson was a prominent player in the Stratford Football Club. Very many friends throughout the district will extend sincere sympathy to Mr Wilson, sen., and other members of the family in their bereavement.
