Mr Simpson urged the removal of the duty on fodder owing to the shortage-, and asked if the Government had arrived at an agreement for the importation of New Zealand fodder. Mr Tudor replied that ihe Federal Government offered the State’ Premiers to act as buyer of New Zealand fodder for all the States, but they did not appear anjdous to accept the suggestion, and none had applied for a remission of the fodder duties.
