THE FIRTH OF FORTH. WILL PROBABLY BE CLOSED TILL WAR ENDS. Dnttkd Press Association, (Received 10.10 a.in. ) London, December 8. The Admiralty has notified the fishing fleet in the Firth of Forth to stop operations. Probably the Firth will be closed till the end of the war. AUDACIOUS RAIDS. (Received 9.5 a.m.) Paris, December 8. M. Augagneur, Minister for Marine, interviewed on .the naval operations in the war, remarked that British and French submarines were daily performing raids with remarkable audacity. SUNK BY A MINE.
(Received 9.5 a.m. ) Stockholm, December 8. The Swedish steamer Norrasverige was sunk by a mine on the coast of Finland. The crew of twenty perished.
