SEIZURE OF AMATEUR WIRELESS. Per Press Association. Christchurch, December 8. The police yesterday seized a wireless plant at Heathcote, which was installed twelve mouths ago and is owned by an employee of the Railway Department, HEALTH REPORT FROM SAMOA. Wellington, December 8.
The following message has been received from Samoa,., dated 6th December : The health of the troops is good. Battery: Lieut. Forsyth (dysentry), Gunner T. Wilverfos (septic leg); Auckland Regiment: Lieut. Tole (abscess), Private H. Davidson (cellulitis), H. Harvey (injury to knee); Railway Engineers: Sergt. M. Matheson (carbuncle), Sappers F. Brockliss (dysentry), E. W. Smyrk (abscess), S. Yerrey (dengue), R. G. Winter (bursitis), Corporal W. Willsteed (dengue). Wellington Regiment: Col. Turner (simple fracture of the leg), Sergt. R. Cook (head injury), LanceCorporal S. Foley (dysentry). Medical Corps: Private T. Dean (dengue), R. McMillan (jaundice). All are doing well.
