FORCE SAILS FOR ANGOLA. United Press Association. London, December 0. A Portuguese Expeditionary Force has sailed for Angola. ' ______ GOVERNMENT RESIGNS. Times and Sydney Sun Services. (Received 8.0 a.m.) London, December 7. The Portuguese Government has resigned consequent on an interpellation concerning the mobilisation decree. The Government considers the interpellation inconvenient. The Premier alone appeared in Parliament upon reassembly and announced that the Government would not return unless the interpellation was withdrawn. GERMANY AT EASE. EFFECT ON FUTURE TRADE. Times and Sydney Sun Services. (Received 8.0 a.rn.) London, December 7. It is reported in Copenhagen that the German Government views with misgiving Portugal’s participation in the war. Apart from the fact that Germany will lose considerable numbers of steamships lying in Pnrtup.guess harbors she fears that it will incite anti-German feeling in South America, especially in Brazil, disastrously affecting future trade.
