In consequence of the wharf laborers’ decision not to work with enemy subjects, as cabled on December 3, all enemy subjects had disappeared from the wharves to-day. TRANSPORTS AT ALBANY. It describes it as an impressive spectacle—the most ' wonderful sight Australasia ever saw. Thirty thousand fighting men representing Australia were* under way for the Great War. The Xew Zealanders gave Hone Heke’s old war cry; “Akel Ake! Kia Kaha!”
