AMUSEMENTS.
HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. The special show programme screen, ed at His Majesty’s last night proved a grand series of pictures. The star play, “Shadows of a Great City,” is a real gem of the photo-play art, the acting being clever and interesting.. “Little Raven’s Sweetheart” is an Indiandrama of the love of a little Indian hoy for a little pale-face girl, showing an uprising of the 'tribe and a fight between U.S.A. soldiers and the Indians. “Heart Broken Shop” is a beautiful story, involving Shop the dog and faithful friend of a little girl. Shep becomes a hero by saving the child from a burning building. Pathe Gazette shows winter in the Vosges -Mountains, France, the location of battle victories to the Allies. “A Day in a Steel Works” is a splendid instructional picture. The comedies are all tip-ton.
