MR NINE’S CAMPAIGN. At’ Tututawa on Monday evening t here was a good muster to hear Mr J. B Mine. The chair was taken by Mr Jacobson, who spoke of the pleasure at again meeting their candidate. Mr Hine in a forceful speech spoke on the leading political questions of tire day, and at the close, on the motion of Mr W. Simpson, a vote of thanks for the address and confidence in the Massey administration was passed. At Stanley Road on Tuesday evening there was a good attendance of settlers, <Mr G. Sangster being in the chair. Mr Hine, who is always well received in this district, was listened to with close attention. Mr Hine, in a clear and persuasive manner, spoke on the leading political questions of the day, and especially dealt with the aims of .the Massey Administration. At the close a vote of thanks to Mr Hine and confidence in the Massey Government was unanimously passed. MR LAV/RY RETIRES. Auckland East, December 2.
