The six-year-old mare Rosalys, by Lupin r Epilogue, has been leased by Dr. Paget, of Stratford, and is in training in view of the coming season’s racing. Although Rosalys has competed in a number of events during the past two and a-half years, she has failed to score a winning bracket. Rosalys has the reputation of being fast but unreliable. It remains to be seen what she will do in new hands. Dr. Paget’s promising three-year-old Charlemagne gelding, Carloman, some time ago struck himself and is to be given a spell for twelve months. The horse is growing very fast, and his owner does not wish to hurry him.
