A Dunedin telegram states that Mr W. Scott, the employers’ representative on the Arbitration Court has been in liis resignation, to take effect from January 31st. Mr W. Bredow has received notice from Defence Headquarters that he has passed the “first appointments to commissions examination,” thus qualifying for appointment as second lieutenant. Mr Bredow is placed fifth on tlie list for the Wellington district.
