ROYAL PATRONAGE. United Press Association, London, November 28. A Stuttgart telegram describes a visit of the Kaiser and the Crown, Prince to Wurtemburg regiment. The Kaiser shook hands with the captain and congratulated him. He walked down the linns, looking closely at each man. The Crown Prince was greeted by all in a friendly manner. Both were looking well. The Kaiser said; “It goes slowly but surely.” BERLIN NERVOUS.
Copenhagen, November 29
Nervousness in Berlin is increasing. Official reports deal with news several days old. It is rumored that the German armies in Poland are retreating, at several points. Thousands of fugitives, mostly of Slav nationalities are fleeing along roads in East from Posen and Silesia - , suffering terrible privations. Hundreds of children have died from lack of milk.
Many thousand wounded are arriving by rail at Posen and Breslau.
