At the Hawera Show yesterday Messrs C. and E. Jackson secured a very large number of horse entries for the Stratford Show.

Weather Forecast.—Westerly heavy gale, and veering by north to west. Expect dull weather with much mist and fog in parts. Heavy rain is to bo expected, with rivers rising shortly, and the weather will probably become colder . Barometer falling ,but rising soon.—Bates, Wellintgon. Exports of New Zealand products during the week ended November 24th were as follows: —Butter £81,895, cheese £25,878, frozen lamb £1,978, frozen mutton £15,131, frozen beef, etc., £28,603. gold £24,071, grain and pulse £10,550, hides and skins £34,352, kauri gum £19,054, flax and tow £BIB6, tallow £7772, timber £3620, wool £105,813.

A monster bazaar and earn;va. wms opened at Whangamomona m the Public Hall this afternoon, and will be continued this evening and tomorrow afternoon, closing to-morrow night. The stalls (fancy, drapery, sweets) are well Idled, and good business is hoped for. An auction sale on Saturday night will be held in aid of the Belgian distress fund.

Arrangements are now rapidly nearing completion for the free concert in aid of the British and Belgian Belief Fund to be given in the Town Hall on Monday next. The Rifle Club Committee is in charge of affairs, and the Municipal Band >s to assist. To-night the Senior Cadets and Territorials will hold a final re. hearsal of the sword, bayonet, and physical drill, which will form a pleasing feature of the programme.
