MELBOURNE WOOL SALES.
United. Press Association. (Received 10.15 a;m.) Melbourne, November 26. At the wool sales there was strong competition for all good sorts at five per cent, •ahove last week. Inferiors were neglected, and were more difficult to sell. LONDON WHEAT MARKET. (Received T?.5 p.m.) London, Noyember 25. There is no demand for wheat at the present price. AUCKLAND WOOL SALES. Per Press Association. Auckland, November 26. The Auckland woo} sales were held to-day. There was a. record entry of 12,220 hales. Prices all round showed an increase on the corresponding sale last year. The finer wools, were in good demand, averaging a penny increase. Coarser wools showed l*d increase. Bush wools also showed improvement, selling at 8d to 9d per lb. The best prices at tho morning, sales were 12d for crassbred, i merino and. Shropshire, and Hid for i the coarser varieties.
