BIG MILITARY VOTES.

United Press Association. Rome, November 24. Cabinet has decreed the expendi-

ture of an additional eight millions sterling for the navy, making a total of forty millions for the army and navy since Siguor Salandra's 'accession to office. Cabinet has also voted a quarter of a million for strategic railways on the Venetian frontier, and authorised the formation of five new artillery regiments. ESSEN COPPER STOPPED. (Received 8.50 a.m.) Rome, November 24. Five freight cars loaded with copper, recently landed at Genoa for Essen, were detained at the Italian frontier.
