HOME DEFENCE CORPS.

FORTHCOMING CONCERT. On November 80th a conceit is Lo he given in the Town Hall under the auspices of the Stratford Defence Rifle Club in aid of the British and Belgian Relief Fund, and the promoters promise a good programme. A feature of the evening will he the military items, mid for some time Lieut. Gray has been hard at work training teams of Territorials and Senior Cadets. At the fire station last night the various teams met for practice, and went through their work very creditably. Teams are being trained in sword, bayonet and physical drill, and the Senior Cadets will contribute a fancy march, which should he highly attractive when seen cu the stage of the Town Hull. No less attractive in their way are the other exercises, and all were carried aut last night with a degree of smartness wflich clearly indicated that they were seized of the correct military spirit.
