N.S.W. WHEAT PROPOSALS. United Press Association. Sydney, November 19 In the Assembly, Mr Cann, in reply to questions, said the Government was communicating with other States of the Commonwealth with reference to the wheat question, winch had been allowed to stand over till Thursday. ALL ALIENS MUST SURRENDER FIREARMS. Sydney, November 19. An official proclamation" prohibits enemy aliens, whether naturalised or unnaturalised, from being in ;wssession of firearms or ammunition, and orders their surrender to the police. Firearms unsuitable for warfare may be retained, provided they are submitted for inspection. '■ PRICES OF PRODUCE TO BE FURTHER INCREASED. 1 (Received 9.45 a.m.) Sydney, November 20. The Commission recommenls the Government to further increase the prices of flour, bran, and pollard. Mr Hall, questioned, stated that the price of wheat would be five shillings at country stations, equivalent to 5s 4-Jd to 5s 5d at Sydney. PRODUCE UNPROCURABLE. (Received 10.5 a.m.) Melbourne, November 20. . Buyers are unable to procure wheat, flour, bran and pollard at the official quotations.
