THE TAUMARUNUI SEAT. Per Press iAssooiatjon. Waitara, November 17. Two candidates for the Tauiiuirnnrl seat, Mr Jennings and Mr VV.lsor respectively, occupied the last two nights in addressing the electors. Mr Jennings avowed that though not a .strong party man he recognised ha must be sure on party lines ncd generally supported the Liberal policy. Mr Wilson was pledged to follow Mr Massey, and he endorsed the Government attitude'on the mu.ii public questions. Mr Jennings received a vote of thanks and confidence with few dissentients, and in Mr YViigoit's case the chairman said he ' though' the motion of thanks and confidence was carried, the voting being fairly equal. Mr F. W. Shortland, a third candidate, is announced.
